ABN Consulting Group is an ERP implementation consultancy and official Odoo Ready Partner helping SMEs across Africa automate and scale their operations. As our client pipeline grows, we are looking for a commercially sharp Sales Executive to drive new business and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to signed contract.
This is not a transactional sales role. Selling ERP solutions requires a specific combination of skills that separates high performers from the rest.
Business Development: You will identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries and markets. This means prospecting, qualifying leads, building relationships with decision makers, and consistently growing ABN's pipeline. You will not wait for inbound enquiries. You will actively create them.
Solution Selling: You will develop enough product and industry knowledge to position Odoo as the right solution for a specific client's business problem. This requires listening before pitching, asking the right discovery questions, and presenting a compelling case for why ABN and Odoo solve what the client is actually dealing with — not a generic product demo.
Account Management: Closing a deal is the beginning, not the end. You will manage the relationship from signed contract through to handover with the delivery team, ensuring the client's expectations are set correctly, their confidence is maintained, and opportunities for expansion or referrals are actively developed.

Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target markets
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signature
- Conduct product demonstrations and solution presentations tailored to client needs
- Prepare and follow up on proposals and quotations
- Support data migration including mapping and validation
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure accurate scoping and smooth handover
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and prospects
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base
- Represent ABN at industry events, networking forums, and partner engagements
- Provide market feedback to inform service positioning and go-to-market strategy
Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, ERP, or technology solutions
- Strong discovery and consultative selling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to engage and influence C-level and operations-level decision makers
- Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline
- Self-driven with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Familiarity with ERP systems or business software (advantageous)
- Understanding of SME business operations across East or West Africa (advantageous)
- Experience working with or selling Odoo (advantageous)
